I wonder if any of Matt Smith’s friends have Tumblr accounts. I wonder if they’ve seen the GIFs. I wonder if they’ve called Matt up and gone, “Hey Matt, the entire blogosphere has just seen your penis.” I wonder if he’s googled it. I wonder if he’s face palmed.
I doubt he’d facepalm, he’s not exactly shy about taking his clothes off for TV/movies. If he was concerned, he wouldn’t have done it.
okay so i don’t like doctor who at all, it bores me. but i need to make a comment about this doctor. he’s ugly as sin and scary. he has horribly sunken eyes and a weird chin and a generally weird demeanor. people are only obsessed with him because hes the doctor. im not sure why but for some reason it irks me
It irks you that other people like something you don’t like? Why on earth do you care, especially since you don’t like the show? Get ready to spend a lot of time being irked, because it’s a big world out there. And no, people aren’t just obsessed with him because he’s the Doctor, but if you decide you like someone based on whether or not you judge them ugly, I guess the other reasons why people like him (like talent and personality) will shoot right over your head.

Someone explain the hate on the eleventh Doctor. I don’t. I just.
I think a lot of people just hate him because he’s not Tennant. When I see those comments on artwork or Facebook posts from the official DW account, people are always whining, “why did you get rid of Tennant, bring him back” as if they don’t understand that Tennant left because he wanted to. They didn’t want to Tennant to go, but they can’t lash out at him for choosing to go, so they take it out on Smith instead.
Smith is my Doctor, but I adore nine, ten and eleven.

I always want to talk to someone about Doctor who, but no one is actually interested in it. This year I almost think that they have taken it over to america, they were filming there…fair enough, the promo for series 7 has already been shown there and they are always off out…
The United States is not getting to see series 7 before the UK, nor did they get to see the promo before the UK either—it premiered at a convention in Wales. They filmed PART of ONE episode in the US—they also filmed part of one episode in Spain. And it’s not Matt and Karen who control where things are filmed, the writers wrote the episode in New York City. The actors go where the show dictates they film.
